Abstract
This chapter draws on François Jullien’s work to evidence that management control is the very embodiment of the Greek way of considering time, action and the world. Comparatively Chinese thought opens up new ways for alternative management practices that would loosen increasingly tight control on people in organizations, and further restore often missing well-being at work.
