Abstract
Champagne wine makers have tried to adjust their supply in order to meet demand which doubled over the last 25 years. Sales went up from about 150 millions bottles in 1978 to about 300 million bottles while prices were stable in constant euros. Further the paper presents the major factors or performance of a Champagne wine maker, a “Maison de Champagne”.
