In a globalized world, multinationals have become major political actors assuming responsibilities that are traditionally attributed to government institutions. Our study is in line with the work that deals with the concept of "global citizenship". Thus, multinationals should contribute to the promotion of a positive social change by the administration of citizenship rights. We conducted an exploratory study in order to describe and understand Danone citizenship engagement among its surrounding communities. The results show that Danone has developed, over the years, citizenship initiatives that go beyond the minimalistic aspects of strategic philanthropy. Link to the article
