Abstract
In the curling game, the one who handles the broom is not directly acting upon the stone. Instead he will be brooming the ice in order to facilitate the speed of the stone. That is a fruitful metaphor for management: the manager would thus pay an enormous effort to the facilitation of people’s development instead of intending to change them. They would try to be a manager rather than “to do management
