Abstract
The social philosophy of Habermas consists of an identification of three forms of rationality : the teleological, the aesthetic, and the instrumental-cognitive one. The way to avoid these three closed forms of rationality is to use language independently of a kind of positive aim – so as to guarantee a genuine freedom for individuals.
