Abstract
Operations management consists in designing, controlling and regulating production systems. This book presents the main features of the manufacturing policy of the firm and the most important techniques which could be used to control production processes. It elaborates on the introduction of information technologies and their consequences in production management, and on the characteristics of the “factory of the future”.
