The relationship between a human resource manager and staff-member can be described using a customer-supplier approach. HRM must guarantee that the employee will receive a fair treatment, and will keep his/her employability, HRM and the employee's hierarchy must also follow ethical guidelines. By preserving equity, employability and ethics, along with the hierarchy, the HRM function gives the general management the security it needs.
