La cassure de 1974 et ses causes

Maurice ALLAIS has shown that a discontinuity occurred in the French economy around 1974. In this article, we show that job creation and especially the creation of jobs per capita slowed down after 1974 (the same phenomena has not been observed in the United States). We attribute this structural change to a series of economic policy measures taken in reaction to the first energy shock.
