Il traite tout d'abord avec une grande précision les états d'équilibre et en tire un maximum d'enseignements de statique comparative. Les chapitres consacrés à la théorie keynésienne établissent des liens très clairs entre le schéma conceptuel général et les institutions monétaires françaises. Il se termine par une introduction détaillée aux théories contemporaines du chômage. Les exercices proposés en batteries visent à stimuler et à tester l'assimilation du contenu."
