Abstract
This article reviews the achievements and failures of transnational cooperation between the U.S. and Europe in the antitrust area. It suggests that cooperation has been less widespread than usually assumed and has not necessarily narrowed the gap between U.S. and E.U. laws. It has contributed however to aligning the methodologies of competition authorities on both rides of the Atlantic.
