The warehouse is part of supply chain. It is one of the main points for logistic execution. It is seen either either like a technical tool, because of automation or mechanisation, or like, paradoxically, like a very basic tool in the way its operations are managed. The debate on the opportunity for more automation or mechanisation stays largely open.
