Cartels and Collusion in Developing Countries: Lessons from Empirical Evidence

This paper examines the reality and effect of anticompetitive practices in developing countries. It examines about one hundred cases of documented practices. A typology of such practices is offered and the consequences of those practices for economic development are analyzed.
