Abstract
International financial centres are today in competition. The legal framework appears as an essential element of their competitiveness. Comparative economic analysis of legal systems linked to financial centres can be a useful tool to define a policy aimed at improving the competitiveness of a financial centre. The current study tries to show that the Law & Finance approach can be applied to this practical goal, by means of an adaptation of the methodology employed.
