Knowledge retrieval is a key step of the knowledge management cycle, which sould be -at least partly- automated. This paper presents an approach for automatic retrieval and indexing of knowledge, based on case-based reasoning techniques. Our approach is especially suited to soft (i.e. complex and ill-structured) domains. The approach is illustrated with a real Business Process Reengineering case.
