Abstract
This paper describes a legal expert system predicting for a private firm the risks involved in contracting with a public administration. The expert system is built using an appropriate methodology spanning from the conceptual phase to the validation phase. This legal expert system has been successfully applied to real life situations, predicting aggregate value for different types of risks.
