Malgré tout, les modèles existants du management des connaissances sont souvent incomplets, inappropriés pour la navigation entre différents niveaux d'abstraction, et inadaptés à l'évaluation quantitative de la recherche et de la pratique du management des connaissances. Nous présentons et illustrons un modèle hiérarchique pour le management des connaissances, qui vise à apporter une solution à ces 3 problèmes. Le modèle est organisé en 3 composantes : types de connaissances, processus de management des connaissances, et contexte du management des connaissances."
