35 heures payées 39, est-ce possible ?
For the parties of the Left, the reduction of the weekly working time from 39 to 35 hours without any decrease in wages should be beneficial for employment in France. This article shows that associating the decrease in the working time per worker with improved flexibility in the use of plants and machinery is not a persuasive argument since 66 % of French production takes place in the service sector. This article also shows that in the countries of the G7, there is an inverse relationship between the annual working time per worker and unemployment.
