Biography

Teaching professor at ESSEC Business School, in the Public-Private Policy Department, Patrice Noisette is teaching Urban Economics, Territorial Strategic Development and Urban Planning in pre-experience and executive graduate and post-graduate programmes. He is involved in the development of the Chair of Urban Economics, whose creation he took part in (1987). Among the pioneers of urban marketing in France in the 1980’s, he recently published Le marketing urbain. Tome 1 : théorie et méthodes with Franck Vallérugo (L’Aube, 2018). From 1975 to 2010 he practiced mostly in applied research and consulting for local authorities, national or international public bodies and large companies (strategic development of cities and territories, urban planning and design, public facilities, urban renewal, public-private partnerships…). He joined the ESSEC Faculty in 2011. He is notably academic director of the Advanced Masters in Urban and Real Estate Management.
